On Wednesday March 11, Mum, myself and the boys went to the Stitches and Craft Show. The boys were very well behaved for such a big day out, and I got myself a few bits and pieces while I was there.
I managed to buy myself this hat pattern from Nicole Mallalieu. I have made one hat so far and have lots of plans for more. This hat is a nice girlie one, that I made from fabric leftover from cutting out Paige's "Margaret Bag". I have given it to my friend's little girl, Lilly.
The fabric is a Fabric Innovations screen print that I got from Spotlight.
Paige's bag is still half completed, I had only cut it out when I started on the hat. The leftovers from the bag I made for Rachel are also destined to become another hat, which will also be given away as the fabric is more suited for a girl. Don't worry, I have plans to make hats for my own kids too, just wait and see...
Hey - I recognise that pattern - AND FABRIc! I used the same print on a hat!
ReplyDeleteWell done - it looks great!
