How many belts do two little boys need? Well probably not this many, but I had bought all of these fabrics with the intention to make these using this tutorial. The hedgehogs I purchased from Badskirt, and the Robots and stars was from some really cool double sided fabric that I got from This and That from Japan. I previously made a musical animals belt in a different colourway that Noah wears, and picked up this colour from Amitie during the Sew It Together Shopping tour.
I made all of these up at once, with the exception of the last one as I had run out of D-rings. Luckily Nicole Mallalieu came to the rescue and I was able to get some more nice and quickly! I think the Robots belts are going to be their favourites, as they find stars to be most fascinating at the moment, and there were already exclamations of "Oooh! Twinkle Twinkle!".
Love that robot fabric! I'm trying to resist clicking on the link to the shop.
ReplyDeleteVERY cute and they look so well made!
ReplyDeleteooo i love them Carmel. And that robot fabric is ace!
ReplyDeleteBelts are on my "to do" list. My Mr 3 keeps growing taller but not out in the waist. He needs belts for the pants that he owns that are shop bought (which are only a few but still it would be nice to wear them especially since most of them are gifts).
ReplyDeleteYour belts are wonderful and providing me with lots of inspiration to get a move on and make some.
Thanks Carmel.
Yep on my 'to do' list as well!
ReplyDeleteThese look great Carmel, I love all your fabric choices.
Nice to see you blogging again!
Fabulous work!!! A least with boys, you know that they're not going to decide next week that they hate wearing jeans and just want to wear dresses(as we had happen here)....
