Scissor Storage

DSCF1014

I have a lot of scissors. More than you see here. I recently ordered myself a magnetic knife rack from simply homes to store my scissors. It gets them up off my table and away from small, inquisitive children. It's much easier to find the ones I want this way, too. I could probably use another one for more scissors, and wouldn't mind having a few more of these around the house for screw-drivers, utensils and... ummm... knives?.

  1. What a fabulous idea. And it makes a snazzy wall hanging too. Practical and ascetically pleasing.

  2. I love this Carmel. It would be idea for our studio where we have 1/2 dozen scissors but I still can't find one when I need to...

  3. I read that storage for scissors on magnets demagnetized them and made lint and stuff stick to them more....I wonder if anyone has any experience with this? I have my kitchen knives on a magnetic strip and they are just fine....i don't use them around fabric much though...and lint stuff
    wondering

    1. I haven't found it to be a problem. My scissors all appear to be lint free.
