  6. I think I would first go with the Ombre fabrics as I have a pattern for a Crayon baby quilt that I would love to make for my niece.. and then maybe some felt as my friend has inspired me to make stuff toys for the children's ward at my local hospital like she does... She just had a hand in designing the cutest little baby in a blanket that I am wanting to make.

  8. Wow, what beautiful store your cousin has! I could explore it all day!

The first thing I would buy from there is the Little Red pattern. I've been wanting to make one for a while. Of course then I would need all the beautiful fabrics to complete it and luckily she has an awesome selection to make that happen. I love the way you can shop fabric by design too (I have thing for chevrons)! :o)

  10. Deborah Edwards - Feathered Friends - Chevrons & Vines are absolutely gorgeous!

I am getting married soon and I want to make two ring holders for when I do the dishes and have a shower, I have never been a jewellery kind of girl and I want to look after them. I was thinking something small hanging, with pockets to hold the rings but after browsing on pinterest I have a few more ideas! I would most definitely use these gorgeous fabrics.

  23. What a lovely shop two blue birdies is!
You know in the 'olden days' when sisters (and maybe even brothers-sis/bro matching sailor suits anyone lol) wore the same matching clothes.... well I think I need to introduce my 3 daughters (ages 12,4,2) the joy of dressing the same! I imagine I could get away with it, with some super cool fabric like "Deborah Edwards - Feathered Friends - Chevrons in Multi" or even "Ann Kelle - Remix - Zig Zag Stripe in Bermuda" made into a classy maxi dress much like the VFT Emmaline....in my head the girls look fantastic! Otherwise I'd buy some wool felt in rainbow colours to make some great dollies... which in my head also look fantastic! LOL

  25. Hi.
I would love 1/2 a yard of the Tula Pink - Prince Charming - Dew Drop in Indigo fabric. I've been looking for some as I've decided to make a quilt for each of my five boys for their 10th birthday. My eldest is turning 10 this November, and his favourite colour is yellow. He has also said that he thinks some teal/aqua would go well. So this fabric includes both these colours and is not 'girly' whilst not being little boy patterned either - it's a quilt I hope will last him till he's all grown....! Thanks
