Yarn, Glorious Yarn
Road to China in saphire
While We're having fun
Nimu - Blencathra
Please buy me a Zauberball
Which one is your favourite wool?
Rich knitters get it, girls
Car-pel Tun-nel!
Yarn, Glorious Yarn
We're anxious to buy it
Three skeins a day
Would be a riot
Just picture a great big skein
Crochet, knitted or garned
Oh Yarn
Wonderful yarn
Marvelous yarn
GLORIOUS YARN!!!
Please excuse my lame attempt at poetry. Haha. I won a voucher on the Spoonful of Sugar blog, to spend at Yarn, Glorious Yarn and I'm just a wee bit excited! I'm still trying to decide what I want. I'm leaning towards some Schoppel-Wolle Crazy Zauberball in either the tropical fish or Der Lenz and have a go at making some socks and maybe some Tilli Tomas Disco lights (unsure about colour) for a shawl or a scarf. Thoughts? I've never knitted socks before, are they hard? Do I need special equipment? Do you have a favourite sock or scarf or shawl pattern?
Great poem! Congratulations on the win - have fun selecting. Such a great range to choose from.
ReplyDeleteAH, you should be on a stage!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd socks are a nice little project. I have a few books and they're all good - toe-up or top-down. I even learned how to do Kitchener stitch!
Love the poem! And I'd be going the zauberball.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that last one, very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat "poem" is brilliant. I sang it to the Food Glorious Food song from Oliver. Very clever!
ReplyDeleteAnd what stunning yarn. So beautiful.
How is the camera???
