Are you a No-Reply blogger?

Do you leave comments on my blog, never to hear back from me? You might think I'm a rude blogger who never replies to comments?

You might be wondering why no one ever replies to your comments.

I've been getting lots and lots of comments in my in-box lately where the from address is coming up as 
noreply-comment@blogger.com
Some of these comments are questions, and I can't answer them. I'm not being rude, I just don't have your email address, because you are a "no-reply blogger"

Don't be embarrassed, because today I found I that
I AM A NO-REPLY BLOGGER TOO!!
OMG! How embarrassing!

Well, I was - before I fixed it...

How do you find out if you're a no-reply blogger? Comment on your own blog. Then see if you can reply to your comment. If you don't have a blog, or don't get your comments emailed to you (which you totally should), then leave a comment with your email address and I will let you know. 
Ummm... maybe for the first fifty commenters or so, haha.

"But what about if I have a Google+ profile?" I hear you say. Well, that's what happened to me, sometime after I linked my Google+ profile to my blogger account (perhaps immediately, I'm not sure) I became a no-reply blogger. There's a solution here that worked for me: Google+ Fix After you fix it, go back and change yourself back to a Google+ profile and it should be fixed.

    That's interesting and weird and scary- how settings and stuff can change and we aren't keeping up with whats going on. Thanks for the tips Carmel, better check my settings- my google reader has gone really weird lately and I feel rather left behind!
